‘I’ll never give up on music’

His hard work has seen him share a stage with popular hip hop group Skwatta Kamp and having made it into the second round of SA's Got Talent in 2017.

Up and coming rapper, songwriter, poet and musician Justin Bravery is surely a force to be reckoned with and is determined to make a name for himself across the world.

His hard work has seen him share a stage with popular hip hop group Skwatta Kamp and having made it into the second round of SA’s Got Talent in 2017.

He started his music career when he was in his teens and has never looked back. He sings and raps in both English and Afrikaans and has a huge following.

Speaking to the Herald, Bravery said music is not the only thing that he excels in.

“I kick-started my career in my teens and I’ve also taken a liking to poetry, reading and writing.

“I’ve since published three poems and I also have three published books to my name.

“Music is still my first love and I hope to perform on big stages one day,” said Bravery who has some of his tracks published on music platform Tubidy.

He focuses on the genres of rhythm and blues (R&B), hip hop and rap.

Bravery has worked multiple jobs to help pay the bills and although he hasn’t bagged any awards yet, he is confident that his talent will take him very far.

“I’ll never give up on music because music is what makes the world go around,” said Bravery.
