Certain areas experiencing a power outage
Multiple areas in Randfontein were affected due to a fault on Eskom's side.
The day (June 26) began with power outages in multiple Randfontein areas due to a fault on Eskom’s side.
This is according to municipal spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa who added that Eskom is currently working to fix the power outages.
Montshiwa confirmed that the affected areas include Robinpark, parts of the CBD from Uncle Harry’s to Six Street, Robinson and Lenmed Hospital, parts of Homelake, parts of Greenhills, Delmas, Continental, Esidimeni, Azaadville, Randfontein Old Age Home and Bongweni.
He stated that the downtime for certain areas is still unknown.
