Baby body found in sewerage pipes in Randgate

The tiny body is thought to have been flushed through the sewerage system.

The body of a baby was found in a sewerage pipe running along Malan Street, where the Rand West City Local Municipality has dug a hole and is currently fixing the pipe.

Recently, the municipality dug the hole to repair what manifested initially as a pothole, which, as it turns out, emanated from a fault in the sewerage network.
