Gerrit Maritz teachers celebrate Heritage Month in style

It's Heritage Month and Laerskool Gerrit Maritz Primary School educators decided to dress traditionally and with pride.

Laerskool Gerrit Maritz Primary School teachers embraced Heritage Month by wearing traditional attire.

According to school spokesperson Sonia Eksteen, they have gone back to their roots.

South Africa is a diverse country so we decided to celebrate our rich diversity in cultures by wearing traditional attire.”

She also quoted Aristotle by saying ‘the roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet’.
