WATCH: Wild owl rescued from fireplace
Spotted Eagle Owl back where she belongs – in the wild – after flying down a chimney and getting stuck in a fireplace.
Recently, a wild owl was rescued from a residence in Greenhills after it got stuck in a fireplace.
Brendan Murray, one of the founders of Owl Rescue Centre, passed on a video of the rescue.
In the video, he explained it was a Spotted Eagle Owl hen weighing about 730g.
Brendan added she was also in a healthy condition and suffered no major injuries.
After rescuing it, they let it go back into the wild.
