Heavy rains and thunderstorms expected to hit parts of the country
The SA Weather Service issued a warning to this effect and urged motorists and pedestrians to pay attention to regular weather updates and warnings.
Motorists and pedestrians throughout the country are warned of possible heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms which are expected in most parts of the country, including Gauteng.
This is according to SA weather service which issued the warning today, December 11.
The weather service cited a yellow level 2 warning for the severe thunderstorms, with small amounts of hail and heavy downpours.
This may lead to localised flooding and the public is also urged to monitor and pay attention to regular weather updates and warnings.
