Eating, dancing and fun at Wings
Businesses and individuals spoiled the residents of Wings Elderly Care Centre with juice, boerewors rolls and muffins amongst other treats on Mandela Day.
Companies and individuals gave up their time to show the true meaning of Mandala Day at the Wings Elderly Care Centre.
Housefather at the centre Andrè Smith said they experienced the true spirit of Madiba on Friday, July 15.
The elderly were spoiled with loads of items from various organisations.
“Dewhot Gas Geysers spoilt the elderly with boerewors rolls and juice, Doves Funeral Services in Randfontein contributed muffins and juice, and the residents also received haircuts by the Mobile Barber.”
He added that Doppio Zero from Cradlestone Mall along with Dominique Tibbles (Mrs Krugersdorp Curvé 2020) donated hundreds of loaves of bread to Wings.
According to Andrè a lot of dancing, laughter and fun marked the day and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it.
