Myburgh Foundation hosts annual youth camp in Cape Town

'The aim of the camp is to afford the kids an opportunity to enhance their spirituality and confidence' – founder.

The Myburgh Foundation members departed to Cape Town on Thursday June 30 for their week-long annual youth camp.

Myburgh Foundation founder and operations manager, Randy Christian said they started their three-day camp in Hephzibah in Wellington for Bible study and a mentorship programme, followed by a tour around Cape Town as well as team-building activities.

“The aim of the camp is to afford the kids an opportunity to enhance their spirituality and confidence,” Randy said.

He said they are truly grateful to God as well as West Rand District Mayor Hullet Hild, Anthony Rooskrantz (RTAP), Maurice Adams (A2G Labour Solutions), Andy Rasool and the community members who generously contributed towards their objective.

“Our next mission will be to establish a youth centre where we will be able to better service the needs of youngsters within our area of operation.”
