Management of Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) confirmed that parts of the City will be affected by stage 4 load-shedding on Monday May 16.

According to Phillip Montshiwa, RWCLM spokesperson, this would be the case because Eskom adjusted to stage 4 rotational load-shedding from 17:00 to 22:00, adding that several areas in Rand West City would be affected.

“We’d like to inform people that Eskom’s time periods can change at any time. It all depends on the load-shedding on the Eskom networks. Please lets assist Eskom and switch off any unnecessary load, such as lights and heaters,” Montshiwa said.
