Management of the Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) held a Mini Science Lab show to create interest among their learners on Friday 29 April.
According to Vanessa Dreyer, RCA spokesperson, learners from Grade RRR and Grade 7 saw 13 different scientific experiments and learnt how to perform them.
“By doing this we hope to instil more interest in science among our learners so that when they grow up they can explore the many opportunities it has to offer,” Dreyer said.
Vanessa added that the science programme they have at the school will help their learners understand how science can benefit society and better the world.
“We believe that by holding these types of demonstration our learners will become more educated. We really hope that by doing this we get them to love the practical aspects of science even more,” Vanessa added.
