A mixed bag of results for Riebeeckrand

Riebeeck — Hoërskool Riebeeckrand and Hoërskool Fochville went head to head in five rugby matches on Saturday May 7. A home game for Riebeeckrand, spectators enjoyed the action between the rivals.

According to Janco Tiedt, sports manager of Riebeeckrand, their first team lost 0–48, and so did their second team by 0–24.
However, their U/16 team managed to secure a win by 41–17; their U/15s won 40–7, while their U/14s won by 22–5.
“We would also like our supporters to know that on Saturday May 21 we will be having a big derby between Hoërskool Riebeeckrand and Hoërskool Jan Viljoen. The Randfontein Rugby Club against Digger it will be a massive day of rugby for the day, and we’re looking forward to it,” Tiedt said.
