They were spoiled with chocolates, homemade goods and mugs filled with yummy coffee and snacks.

The mothers and grandmothers at Wings of Inspiration’s Elderly Care Centre were spoiled for Mother’s Day on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 by community members with caring hearts.

Mother’s Day coordinator Andrè Smith said numerous community members such as Barend Kotze (Mr Randfontein 2021), Margereth Jonker (Mrs Randfontein first princess) and Marinda Troskie (Mrs Curvé Randfontein 2021) came to spoil the residents.

He added that Lucy Welgemoed (Mrs Hoop en Hart 2022) and Azalea Hood (Miss Petite Krugersdorp 2021) presented the grandmothers with homemade items and treats, and Anica van der Westhuizen (Miss Jnr Randfontein 2019), her mom Ilze Joubert, and Theresa Vosloo also came to hand out some wonderful gifts to the women.
