Girls Day project coming to RSS girls

The project seeks to empower girls so that they continuously change their communities after leaving school.

Management of the She Tribe NPO are seeking to help and empower 215 Grade 10 girl learners at Randfontein Secondary School (RSS) through a Girls Day project.

Azania Barends, founder of the organisation said the project seeks to empower girls so that they continuously change their communities after leaving school..

She aims at donating cosmetic items such as sanitary pads, lip balm, toothpaste, roll-on, face cloths and soap.

In any community our children are very important. Our girls need guidance and correction with love, as social hardships have shifted the mindsets of the girls,” Barends said.
