A 44-year-old man was arrested for the murder of his 28-year-old girlfriend in Mohlakeng.

According to Randfontein Police spokesperson Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, the victim was found with a bullet wound to the head on Sunday 30 January.
Besides facing a murder charge, the suspect was also in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. He’s expected to appear in the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court again next Monday, February 21 for a bail application,” she said.
