Kocksoord man missing since January 24

A family has asked the public for their help in finding their brother who has been missing since Monday January 24.

Phillip Degenaar, a 51-year-old man from Kocksoord, has been missing since Monday January 24.

According to family, Degenaar was last seen on the R599 near Kocksoord Spar at around 15:00.

“Phillip was last seen by our elder brother, Chris, who dropped him off at the four-way stop in Kocksoord. He had just returned from his December trip to Hartbeespoort,” said his sister, Simone Degenaar.

We’re very worried because he has no cellphone or ID with him. We spoke to all his friends and everyone he knew, but no one knows where he is. Ever since that day, there hasn’t been any trace of him,” Simone said.

Simone described Phillip as having blue eyes with light brown hair and a medium build. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a blue and white shirt with denim.

If you have any information, contact Simone Degenaar on 079 601 7535.
