Early on Tuesday morning, January 18, residents in parts of the West Rand – some even as far as Johannesburg – felt an earth tremor.
According to various sources, a light magnitude 3.3 tremor occurring at a depth of 10km was felt at about 06:33. Gauteng Weather’s official Twitter account confirmed the occurrence.
