New year, new set of Grade 1s at FJL Wells

Things were calm and orderly at the FJL Wells Mine Primary School when Grade 1s started the new academic year.

Things were calm and orderly at the FJL Wells Mine Primary School when Grade 1 learners started their school year on Wednesday 12 January.

Covid-19 protocols still had to be observed, and parents and guardians made their way through the gates wearing their masks. Their temperatures were taken and their hands sanitized.

When the Herald visited the school, teachers had already written their full names on the boards for learners and parents to know who they are, and whether they were teaching Grade 1A, 1B or 1C.
