Randfontein Police Station closes again temporarily due to Covid-19

Communities serviced by the Randfontein Police Station have been advised that it has been closed for decontamination due to a Covid-19 related incident.

The Randfontein Police Station was closed temporarily after a Covid-19 incident.

Randfontein Police management informed all communities serviced by the police station on Tuesday, January 4 that the police station had been closed temporarily for decontamination after a positive Covid-19 test.

The specific components that will be decontaminated are the management offices (including the station commander’s office, the administration block which includes the Human Resource Management, Crime Information Management Centre, Crime Prevention office and Accident office), BECAUSE (Victim Empowerment Centre) and the kitchen.

On Wednesday, January 5 they will be fully operational again.

Management apologised for any form of inconvenience as a result of this temporary arrangement.
