Robinpark — The Randfontein Bowling Club recently held their year-end function and prize-giving to celebrate their bowlers who worked so hard during the year.
The night was filled with good company, lovely food and trophies for the best of the best at the club.
Everyone was in high spirits on Saturday, December 11.
The night kicked off with a small prize-giving ceremony, followed by a lovely buffet and yummy malva pudding for desert, perfect for the chilly weather that was passing by outside.
Awards were handed to the following bowlers:
• Runner-up ladies singles – Vera Pretorius
• Runners-up men's pairs – Corrie Grobbelaar and Bobby McNeill
• Selected pairs winners – Kobus Ball and Willie Maritz
• Selected mixed pairs winners – Rina Kluyts and Deon Snyman
• Mixed pairs winners – Erica Snyman and Dawie Volschenk
• Men's singles winner – Evert van Staden
• Mixed drawn pairs runners-up – Leila Snyman and Geoff Behrent
• Mixed drawn pairs winners – Corrie Grobbelaar and Tommy Parrot,
• Ladies singles winner – Leila Snyman
• Men's singles runner-up – Geoff Behrent
