Author hopes to inspire former school with her new book

A South African born author and businesswoman visited her former school, Phahama Secondary School on Friday December 3, with the hope to inspire learners.

Nthabiseng Lennon, author of the autobiography titled I Am That Girl encouraged learners to be the best they can be despite all odds.

“We’ve also arranged extra classes on the weekends for them to learn Mathematics and Science because many times our kids fail; not because they’re not intelligent but because they’re dealing with issues we don’t know about,” Nthabiseng said.

She added that learners need proper guidance and should not be ignored so that they could do their best in everything they attempt.

“We’ve donated T-shirts, food and money, just to say thank to them for staying on the course,” Nthabiseng added.
