Eight injured when SUV rolls

Eight people were injured when the SUV they were travelling in rolled near Carletonville on the far West Rand on Sunday morning, December 12.

ER24 spokesperson Ineke van Huyssteen said when paramedics arrived on scene shortly before noon, they found some patients sitting and lying next to the wreck of the vehicle.

“They found that the patients had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious. ER24, GPG and another medical service treated the patients at the scene before transporting them to hospital for further medical care.”

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not known to the paramedics.
