In the West Rand, which comprises of Mogale City, Rand West City and Merafong City, 366 986 vaccinations have been administered, with 177 528 individuals fully vaccinated. According to the Gauteng Provincial Government, the population of the West Rand now stands at 686 355.
In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg, 2 504 107 vaccines have been administered with 1 204 956 individuals fully vaccinated. The population of Johannesburg stands at 4 360 765.

- 18 to 34 years: Out of a population of 5 196 154, 580 287 individuals have been fully vaccinated
- 35 to 49 years: Out of a population of 13 441 983, 1 050 775 individuals have been fully vaccinated
- 50 to 59 years: Out of a population of 1 330 500, 559 588 individuals have been fully vaccinated
- 60+ years: Out of a population of 1 342 689, 637 533 individuals have been fully vaccinated
