How to stay active … from a 62-year-old

Wendy Eno loves the enjoyment that teaching fitness gives her and others around her.

Passionate and qualified gym, spinning as well as aerobics instructor Wendy Eno gave the following tips on how to stay active:

• Try and walk with a friend often
• Have interests and hobbies to keep yourself busy
• Get up and move around often, don’t stay in one place for long periods
• Live for the day and make sure to enjoy your life
• Put a smile on your face; it eventually makes you happier and more positive

Wendy’s students are from various age groups. “I teach circuit training and spinning classes, and stretching and strengthening classes to seniors.”

She teaches 20 classes a week, including at retirement villages where her classes are free of charge.
