In the West Rand, which comprises of Mogale City, Rand West City and Merafong City, 327 026 vaccinations have been administered, with 154 933 individuals fully vaccinated. According to the Gauteng Provincial Government, the population of the West Rand now stands at 686 355.
In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg, 2 261 134 vaccines have been administered with 1 046 842 individuals fully vaccinated. The population of Johannesburg stands at 4 360 765.

- 18 to 34 years: Out of a population of 5 196 154, 402 451 individuals have been fully vaccinated
- 35 to 49 years: Out of a population of 13 441 983, 921 075 individuals have been fully vaccinated
- 50 to 59 years: Out of a population of 1 330 500, 517 097 individuals have been fully vaccinated
- 60+ years: Out of a population of 1 342 689, 617 378 individuals have been fully vaccinated
