Walter Gezani Baloyi, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) local elections candidate councillor for Ward 9 recently answered the Herald’s questions regarding the upcoming elections.

3. Areas that fall under the ward:

OR Tambo informal settlement, Eureka and Greenhills

4. Why should the community vote for you?

I will help improve service delivery and assist in the fight against gender-based violence (GBH) as well as the scourge of violence against women and children which is an epidemic spreading through society.

5. Outside of local council duties, how are you involved in the community?

I am on the committees for women and children, men and elderly, as well as the pastors committee, and believe in youth empowerment.
