Delicious boerewors, singing and dancing at Wings

Not even the wet weather could stop the Wings residents from having a good time during their fun day.

The gloomy and rainy weather didn’t stop residents of Wings of Inspiration Elderly Care Centre from having a blast during their fun day on Saturday October 2.

Housefather André Smith explained that local Randfontein artist, Driekus du Plessis provided live music while residents enjoyed snacks, boerewors rolls and cupcakes among other delicious treats that were donated by Randfontein residents.

The day was a huge success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves,” André said.

He added that Mrs Randfontein Charlotte van Wyk; Miss Randfontein finalist 2021 Judy van Wyk; Miss Petite Krugersdorp Azalea Hood; Mr Randfontein finalist 2021 Barend Kotze; Mrs Curve Randfontein finalist 2021 Marinda Troskie; and ward councilor Sina Erasmus were in attendance.
