Shiny wheels, fast cars displayed in Culemborg Park

Car and bike fanatics from far and wide came together to show off their pride possessions at a car and bike show in Culemborg Park.

The long weekend’s hot weather did not stop fanatics from far and wide to come together and show off their four- and two-wheel pride and joy during a car and bike show in Culemborg Park.

Hosted by Fired Up Events on Saturday September 25 – their first ever – one of the organisers Carmen Wolfaardt Botha said it was a huge success.

“People from all over came to show off their epic rides of all shapes, sizes and colours. The community also came out to show their support for the RandWest SPCA that were selling food on the day, and they even received a huge donation of cat and dog food.

“The purpose was to help the community and to do something interesting in Randfontein.”

They had a sound competition as well as a show and shine for cars and bikes.

According to Carmen, they are planning on hosting more car shows where anyone can show off their cars and bikes.

“I think we did a really great job for our first event. It was nerve-racking but we all worked as a team and we managed to make it a success.”
