The 15-year-old Calista-Hope Huyser from RCA is also in the national Top 10 of the school's branches across South Africa.

Another learner of Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA), Calista-Hope Huyser, 15, has done her school proud.

She scored seven distinctions in the second term for Grade 9.

Said to be the first learner to achieve this academic excellence, Calista-Hope has been placed in the national Top 10 of the school’s branches across South Africa.

Teacher Marelize Wijtenburg said, “We are very proud of her and we hope that she will keep this up”.

Calista-Hope said all it took was going the extra mile, and gave all the glory to the Lord.

“You have to be dedicated and make sure that you always make time for your studies. This is really an honour for me,” Calista-Hope said.
