Lenmed frontline workers spoiled with cake and milk tart

Healthcare workers were spoiled with 28 cakes and 28 milk tarts to show appreciation for all of their hard work.

The healthcare workers from Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital who put their lives on the line daily were surprised and blessed with cake and milk tart recently.

Organiser of the event, Hannetjie Stadler explained that through their project, Die Ben Morgenrood Groep Gee Om, they wanted to do something special for the healthcare workers at the hospital.

“They deserve more than just a thank you. Every shift they work is an act of bravery. Not only do they expose themselves but also their loved ones at home,” said Hannetjie.

During the evening 28 cakes and 28 milk tarts were handed out to show the healthcare workers they are appreciated.

Ben Morgenrood’s Service Manager Andries de Jager did the scripture reading and prayer, and also brought a message of hope to the staff.
