I’ve taken the jab for SA – Traffic chief

Rand West Traffic Department Chief Kgomotso Mthethwa popped into Lenmed's vaccination site to receive her second and final Covid-19 jab.

It was all smiles at Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital as a big-name official from the Rand West Traffic Department (RWCTD) rolled up her sleeve for a second time.

RWCTD Chief Kgomotso Mthethwa popped into Lenmed’s vaccination site on Friday morning, August 27 absolutely ecstatic to receive her second and final Covid-19 jab.

She explained her experience as quick and painless, saying, “It was over within minutes”.

Chief Mthethwa encouraged everyone to take the jab – not just for themselves but to protect others.

“Just like the first jab my second experience was awesome. I’m not only doing it for myself but to protect my family, the people I’m working with and the whole of South Africa. I’ve taken the jab for South Africa.”

She added that everyone wants Covid-19 to be gone.

“We want to be healed, to reduce the number of deaths and flatten the curve so it’s not only my responsibility as a frontline worker but also that of all South Africans,” she concluded.
