MEC gets second jab in Bekkersdal

Gauteng public vaccination sites accept walk-ins, whether people are registered or not.

Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Parks Tau got his second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at Bekkersdal Care of the Aged on Wednesday, 18 August.

According to the MEC’s liaison officer, Loyiso Jantjies, Tau got his first dose at the same venue in July.

“MEC Tau encouraged residents of the West Rand, men in particular, to get the vaccine jab as this will allow for the economy of this region to get back to normal, so that more people can get back to work,” Jantjies said.
