Wings to spoil the women in their care this Women’s Month
They would like to celebrate abused and abandoned women, and the elderly in their care.
With August marking Woman’s Month, the Wings of Inspiration Elderly Care Centre would like to make their women feel special.
Anthea Da Costa, Director of Wings of Inspiration, said they would like to celebrate abused and abandoned women, and the elderly in their care by giving them toiletry packs, sweets, beauty products, baked goods and clothing.
They also call on those willing to volunteer their time to give the ladies manicures, pedicures or haircuts.
“We want to do this because these lady come from hard backgrounds, and unfortunately they don’t have family to spoil or care for them.”
She added that any gift, whether big or small, will make a big difference in someone’s life.
They also need oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, oxygen masks, first aid supplies, medication, food items and snacks.
Donations can be dropped off at any of their Wings of Inspiration Centres across Roodepoort, Krugersdorp and Randfontein.
