Two people were injured while a third escaped injury when the vehicle they travelled in overturned several times along Wedela/Blyvoor Road in Carletonville on the far West Rand on Friday afternoon.
Werner Vermaak, ER24 spokesperson said shortly after 17:00 paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found two men lying outside the vehicle.
“It is not clear if they were ejected from the vehicle or climbed out prior to paramedics’ arrival. Both sustained moderate injuries and were treated on the scene.
A third man was found in police custody. He was assessed and found without injuries. The two injured men were later transported to Carletonville Hospital for further medical care.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known. Local authorities attended the scene.”
