This week’s Battle Plan for Rand West City
The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening from August 10 to 13. Here is where they will be in Rand West City.
The West Rand District Health Department extended an invitation to the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.
The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week from Tuesday, August 10 to Friday, August 13.
The sites are operational from 09:00 until 15:00.
Testing will be done at the following sites:
• Tuesday, August 10 at the Mohlakeng Hostel (Ward 13)
• Wednesday, August 11 at Sporong Kocksoord (Ward 2), and Bekkersdal Tambo section (Ward 34)
• Thursday, August 12 at the Siyahlala informal settlement (Ward 11), and Bekkersdal X-section (Ward 32)
• Friday, August 13 at the Bekkersdal Spooktown taxi rank (Ward 31)
