Model academy spreads joy to those who protect town
Rand Models Academy handed out goodie bags to those who protected the town during the recent lootings.
Rand Models Academy recently spread some joy for Mandela Day on Sunday, July 18.
They handed out goodie bags in Randgate, Tambotie Mall, Umphakati Mall and Umphakati Square.
Refilwe Mangope, a coach at the academy said they handed out approximately 100 goodie bags containing disposable masks, fruit, snacks and drinks to car guards, security guards, police officers and people protecting the malls from looters.
“We handed out the bags because we as an academy wanted to show support and thank them for doing such a great job in protecting our town,” said Refilwe.
