This week’s Covid-19 battle plan in Rand West City

The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening from July 19 to July 23. Here is where they will be in Rand West City.

The West Rand District Health Department is inviting the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.

The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week from Monday, July 12 to Friday, July 16. The sites are operational from 09:00 to 15:00.

Testing will be done at the following sites:

• Monday, July 19 at Zuurbekom
• Tuesday, July 20 at Westonaria Shoprite
• Wednesday, July 21 at Greenhills Spar and Hillshaven
• Thursday, July 22 at Mohlakeng Ext 11
• Friday, July 23 at Zenzele sports ground

Hloma said on the other days residents can get tested at their local clinics and healthcare facilities.
