This week’s Covid-19 battle plan in Rand West City

The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening from July 12 to July 16. Here is where they will be in Rand West City.

The West Rand District Health Department is inviting the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.

The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week from Monday, July 12 until Friday, July 16. The sites are operational from 09:00 until 15:00.

Testing will be done at the following sites:

• Monday, July 12 at Mohlakeng Zenzele
• Tuesday, July 13 at Badirile
• Wednesday, July 14 at Toekomsrus dumping site and Westergloor
• Thursday, July 15 at Simunye
• Friday, July 16 at Westonaria Borwa

Hloma said on the other days residents can get tested at their local clinics and healthcare facilities.
