WATCH: SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge: How to enter …

#LiveLimitless is calling on all South Africans to put on their running shoes once again and come together virtually to be part of a nationwide event that’s breaking borders and redefining limits.

Entries are now officially open for the SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge.

On September 4, women will not be limited when they participate in this virtual challenge.

“The incredible fortitude our country has shown over the last 18 months was the inspiration for the 2021 SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge and its theme, #LiveLimitless. This year’s challenge celebrates the ways in which we have challenged, and in some cases broken down, the limits that lived in our minds before the pandemic.

#LiveLimitless is calling on all South Africans to put on their running shoes once again and come together virtually to be part of a nationwide event that’s breaking borders and redefining limits!” said Alison Zweers, managing director SPAR Western Cape and Namibia.

She said entries opened on May 26 and the response from SPAR’s loyal following has been overwhelming.

“More than 5 000 entries were placed within the first few days, and unfortunately one of the few things that are limited is the number of entries we have available. Race organisers are urging the public to enter early to avoid disappointment. Entries will close on August 15 and are limited to 75 000 participants.”

Alison said, “We have all been faced with challenges and obstacles in our lives, and more specially over the last year. However, the SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge is breaking boundaries and pushing limits. This year let’s overcome our obstacles and shoot for the stars. Let’s #LiveLimitless.”

How it works

The event takes place on September 4 any time between 06:00 and 18:00 (subject to government lockdown regulations). You can run, jog, or walk your own race, at your own pace, on your own route, at any distance, from any location you choose.
