Where to get tested for Covid-19 in Rand West City
Whether you need a Covid-19 test or a blood sugar test, you can visit any of the West Rand District Health Department's pop-up sites in Rand West City this week to get tested.
Do you or someone you know might have Covid-19?
The West Rand District Health Department is inviting the community to come and test for Covid-19 at their sites this week.
The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma confirmed tests will be done for free this week for Covid-19 as well as other health issues including HIV, TB and blood pressure.
The sites are operational from 10:00 until 15:00 for a Covid-19 and the other health tests completely free of charge.
Testing will be on the following dates:
• Tuesday, June 22 at Shoprite in Westonaria
• Wednesday, June 23 at Randfontein Station Mall
• Thursday, June 24 at Pick n Pay Centre
• Friday, June 25 at Tambotie Mall
Hloma said on the other days residents can get tested at their local clinics and facilities.
