VIDEO: Mayor apologises for lack of service delivery, their shortfalls

Among other things, the Mayor admitted that people were unhappy and frustrated by the conditions they live in. She also expressed her concerns about people being unable to reach the municipality.

 Brenda Mahuma, Executive Mayor of the Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) apologised to residents for the lack of service delivery and shortfalls in the municipality.

The apology was made during an exclusive interview with the Herald on Tuesday, 18 May.

The Mayor was informed that the Herald had been inundated with phone calls from unhappy residents who were desperate for service delivery and were struggling to reach the municipality.
