Motorists are advised to take caution at the infamous R28/ R41 intersection in Uitvalfontein near the Robinson bridge after an alleged oil and cement spill.
This morning, Friday 14 May, the Herald has been inundated with reports from motorists concerned about the disruption of traffic at the above-mentioned location.
Residents said, also on our social platforms, that oil and cement had spilled on the road as a result of an accident, affecting traffic flow in the precinct.
The Herald found emergency services, the police and members of the Rand West Traffic Department clearing the scene.
There has not been any official comment regarding the cause of the accident yet; however, there will be updates on the story as soon as more information becomes available.
