Bekkersdal Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a man was found in an open veld between Spooktown and Donaldson Dam on Sunday, 9 May.
According to Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, the Bekkersdal Police spokesperson, “The body was discovered by a passer-by at about 2pm. The victim had sustained gunshot wounds to his neck and face.”
She added the victim was wearing blue denims, a navy-blue track top. and black sneakers.
“The motive for his killing is yet to be established, and investigation is still under way,” Lefakane added.
