Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) has given space lessons through virtual reality (VR) on Wednesday, 28 April.
According to Mariska Snyman, coordinator of the lesson and a teacher at the school, parents and even teachers got to enjoy the adventure with the learners.
She said the purpose was to give the audience some insight into the universe, galaxies and space science to show them the greatness God created throughout the universe.

“This was an opportunity for everyone to learn in the most fun way what God has created. They also leant great scientific facts about our solar system,” Mariska said.
She added that the school liked to find innovative methods of teaching for their learners to enjoy.
“The learners were so excited to take part, and were amazed by the presentation. They spoke about it throughout the day, hence we’d like to do it again,” Mariska added.
