A 59-year-old photographer and Wings of Inspiration Elderly Care Centre resident aims to help his fellow elderly through a photography fundraiser.
Andrè Smith of Uhmbrellha Photography came up with the idea.
“I would like to raise funds for the centre by having the community book photo shoots, whether for modelling portfolios, family photo shoots or even weddings.”
He explained that a portion of the proceeds from the photo shoots will go directly to the centre which they can then use as the needs arise.
“I see this fundraiser as an opportunity to give back some of my talent to the people of Randfontein as well as Wings of Inspiration Elderly Care Centre, so you don’t only get something in return for your money, but you invest in the elderly at the same time.”
Andrè explained that he was planning the fundraiser for May and June, and the photos can be taken at the care centre as it has a beautiful setting.
“If you are in Randfontein don’t just support the photographer, but also Wings Of Inspiration Care Centre.”
