Covid-19 cases in Rand West City nears the 7 000 mark
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District is 24 800 with 817 deaths and 23 761 recoveries.
According to the latest report issued by the Gauteng Provincial Government, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Rand West City stood at 6 989. A total of 6 722 people have recovered so far.
Mogale City and Merafong City, which are also part of the West Rand District, have had 12 620 and 5 184 cases respectively. Mogale City and Merafong City have seen 12 167 and 4 870 recoveries respectively.
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District is 24 800 with 817 deaths and 23 761 recoveries.
In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality Region C, which comprises Roodepoort, the number of confirmed cases to date stands at 21 025 and 20 503 recoveries.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 421 598 with 407 976 recoveries and 10 597 deaths.
