EPR West Rand has released its latest crime report for the period from Monday, 12 April to Friday, 16 April.
According to Johan Krogh, General Manager at EPR, 16 incidents were reported, 10 of them at businesses.
Theft was on top of the list, with four incidents reported on Tulbach Street in Culemborg Park, The Circle Street in Homelake, Ralerata Street in Mohlakeng, and Plot Street in Wilbotsdal respectively.
Housebreaking and robbery are next on the list, with six incidents.
Three break-ins occurred on Hona Street, Aureus; Edwards Street in Westonaria; and De Villiers Street in Randridge respectively, while another three incidents of robbery were reported on Main Street, Randfontein; Ventersdorp Road, Elandsvlei; and Lipizzaner Crescent in Greenhills respectively.
There was also an attempted housebreaking on Honda Street, Aureus; a possession of stolen goods incident on Lazaar Avenue, Randgate; two damage to property incidents on Tambotie Street, Randgate; and on a plot in Zuurbekom respectively, as well as an attempted theft on Neptune Street, Westonaria.
