Meet Andile Mthobisi Ncube, a local singer, DJ and events coordinator who is on the brink of stardom. He now wants to reveal his secret and wants the local youth to follow in his footsteps.
The 25-year-old who was born and bred in Pongola, a town in KwaZulu-Natal, said it only takes self-belief to achieve success.
Arriving in Randfontein last year, he said he hit the ground running when he organised big events and collaborated with local artists and well-known celebrities.
“I didn’t waste any time because I love the job I do,” he said.
Andile said it also gives him a good feeling when those who need hope look at him for strength.
He is proud to be able to give other artists a platform to shine, and is glad to play a role in promoting others when he sees potential.
“I enjoy helping others to market their talents, but more importantly I want to see young people work hard and reach their dreams,” he said.
He wants people to know it may not always be smooth sailing but as they say, patience is a virtue.
“Persevere and never lose hope. Do not give up on your dreams but remain humble. You’ll see how God will bless you,” Andile said.
