We are looking for a journalist to join the Caxton Local Media West Rand Branch team.

Caxton Joburg West calls for applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of journalist.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in journalism will be to your advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Must be an all-rounder able to cover all types of news including hard news and investigative stories
- Experience in a similar environment preferable
- Computer literacy
- Candidate must live in Roodepoort or be willing to relocate to Roodepoort
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
- A solid understanding of deadlines and an ability to work well under pressure are essential
- A valid driver’s licence and own roadworthy vehicle compulsory
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team
We offer:
