Close to 80 kids to benefit from Myburgh Foundation partnership

The Myburgh Foundation is partnering with the Toekomsrus Builders Forum for their scholar breakfast programme.

According to Randy Christian, founder and operations manager at the Myburgh Foundation, they will be providing the much-needed nutrition to between 65 and 80 vulnerable children in Toekomsrus.

“We have decided to run this project because many children miss out on the most important meal of the day because of harsh socioeconomic circumstances,” said Randy.

He added that their scholar breakfast programme will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and hopefully they will be able to run the programme five days a week in due course.

“We as the Myburgh Foundation would like to acknowledge the Toekomsrus Builders Forum for their contribution of building material to ensure our organisation reaches its objective.”

Muriel George, chairperson of the Toekomsrus Builders Forum said they were delighted to be part of such a project.

“We are committed to such uplifting initiatives in the community,” said Muriel.

According to Randy, the Toekomsrus Builders Forum’s generosity is appreciated by their management as well as their beneficiaries.

“We are looking forward to completing the project and to start making positive changes within our community,” said Randy.
