It is the month of love and Herald journalist Michelle Roodt, 24, and her boyfriend, Klaven van Wyk, 23, decided to share their love story to get the ball rolling and show you that you too can share your story – and win big – with the PixzAR your Love campaign.
Klaven and Michelle are both from Krugersdorp and have been together for almost six years.
“We met in 2015 while in matric. Klaven had moved into a house close to mine but we didn’t know each other until his dog got out of their property and had a fight with our dog,” said Michelle.
“Our parents had to sort out the problem with the dogs, and in a sense that is how we met,” said Klaven.
They have been through a lot in their relationship, but would not change it for anything.
“The key is to sit down and work through it together, because it is your fight as a couple, you are not against each other.”
